Kyrie and KD?

Over the past weekend, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, both NBA All-stars, were seen talking and laughing the the tunnel before stepping foot on the court. Being that both players are Free Agents after this season, the media, mainly Skip Bayless, are creating and making up stories for a good headline. Bayless made a statement on twitter that he believes Kyrie and KD will meet up in New York to become teammates next season on the New York Knicks. After the story had come out, Kyrie Irving, the Boston Celtics Point Guard was quick to come out and deny the accusations. Just because the two are good friends, the media takes a conversation out of context and spread rumors. When asked about the situation by another reporter, Kyrie Irving stated that, "It's a video of me and one of my best friends talking. And then it turns out be a dissection of a free agency meeting? Do you get that? Like, do you get that? And then I'm asked questions about that? Thats what disconnects me from all that s***." Irving is clearly rattled by the situation which he has the right to be. Being on the biggest stage in basketball can interfere with your private life and I believe that is the biggest turn off in the NBA.
